    http://www.domain.com or http://domain.com

I've recently created a wordpress website and it's currently as http://domain.com but it just feels like something is missing so I'm tempted to include the 'www.'. Before I do this, I would like to know which is preferable and why. Any ideas??

I personally prefer just _____.com I don't like WWW. infront of the names but that's just my personal preference! Be sure once your blog is done to show us. :)

I agree with Kyle. Don't even put the http:// because it's automatically added anyways. Domain.com

I personally like www. for main sites e.g. www.tmzvps.com then sub-domains like m.tmzvps.com (without the www after all www is a sub domain) but either is fine as long as you force one or the other to prevent duplicate content from being indexed :)

I started out with www. on all my sites and slowly moved them all over to just domain.com. It just looks cleaner. Either way is 'the right way', it's really just up to personal preference.

Without www will speed up your site and also improve server response on busy sites. WWW is still a sub domain name and it does add to both resource usage and page load time.
